Having joined Wylie Shanks Architects in 1992, Stephen has over 31 years architectural experience behind him, he has worked on an extensive range and value of projects.

He has undertaken a considerable body of public authority works and specialises in conservation, healthcare, education, industrial and residential projects. His principal roles are to oversee the financial, marketing and administration aspects of the practice as well as being a key client contact and project leader. Stephen also leads the Principal Designer team within the office.

2023 saw him obtain RIAS Accreditation in Conservation Architecture in recognition of his longstanding experience in that sector.

​

He is the Secretary for his local golf club and also serves on the Match Committee as well as being an active 5-a-side footballer.
